An alumnus of Kutztown University, Dr. Garrison has more than 15 years of criminal justice academic and practical experience. Before entering academia Dr. Garrison worked for the Delaware Criminal Justice Council and supervised the planning of various federal criminal justice program funding sources including the Byrne Memorial Block Grant, the Weed and Seed grant and the Juvenile Justice grant. As Senior Researcher, Dr. Garrison wrote more than 25 policy reports and evaluations on various criminal justice initiatives. He has published more than 30 articles in various peer-reviewed journals and law reviews.
